A Mega Silicon Valley and a Mega Economic Region is one of my agenda items as the congressman for California's district 18. Uncanny how this is the exact plan in a different part of the world. Note that distance from Stockton to San Jose or Modesto to Menlo Park is almost the same as Mumbai to Pune. A massive infrastructure project has to be a public sector undertaking. America did railroads, highways and now it is time for a radical new 21st century high speed transportation system that will empower the next generation and power our economy, but also address our quality of life issues.
