Our campaign is at a transition point. We seek your help and support. In a couple weeks, our summer interns will head back to school and our precinct walking, phone banking may see a dip. We cannot let that happen! We had a very exciting summer with a couple hundred high school and college interns who were setting a new vision for Silicon Valley. Our campaign literally caugt fire and the numbers are looking very compelling. But we gotta sustain this grassroots movement that is tracking so very well with the voters. We have a good group of interns arriving for the Fall campaign - that will continue to build on the summer success I invite you to join our signature 10AM Saturday morning Breakfast of Campaigns meeting at our San Jose campaign office (4950 Hamilton Avenue, San Jose CA). We will provide you an inside view of our campaign and together we will go walk-knock-talk with voters. Pease reply and let me know if you are joining for head count purposes. Uncanny how this is the exact plan in a different part of the world. Note that distance from Stockton to San Jose or Modesto to Menlo Park is almost the same as Mumbai to Pune. A massive infrastructure project has to be a public sector undertaking. America did railroads, highways and now it is time for a radical new 21st century high speed transportation system that will empower the next generation and power our economy, but also address our quality of life issues.
